Hey look, it’s current! You can thank my friend Andrew for this horrendous idea. He’s a genius. We were talking about all of the things happening in the Mediterranean recently and always having Mario on the brain, this popped up.
When you think about it, what’s with Peach and her toadstool slave labor anyways? It seems like we never question dictatorships if they’re on the good side in games. Who needs free elections when you’ve got a princess in charge who you can save from danger for a quarter of a century?
On the other hand though, having one person in charge just keeps things simple. It’s great for fiction. You don’t need to spend hours in senate meetings.
